Valley School Bramhall

Valley School Bramhall

Valley is a special school in our local community.  It caters for children with a range of complex and severe learning difficulties including autism, sensory, physical and medical needs.

These needs can take a toll on their parents. We have outreached to Valley School and provided them with free yoga courses.

So far, we’ve put on a four-week ‘introduction to yoga’ course in February and June of 2019, which many carers attended.

The feedback has been superb and we look forward to continuing to work with the parents and carers at this wonderful school.

East Cheshire Hospice

East Cheshire Hospice is a warm and welcoming space for adults and children facing life-limiting illness.  Providing care, comfort and compassionate support to patients and their loved ones is their main priority.

The Hannah Whitley Foundation regularly offer free yoga at East Cheshire Hospice’s family days, which take place in school holidays, and are for families who have a loved one at the hospice.

The Hannah Whitley Foundation pay for the premises and our wonderful yoga teacher Rachel Manion, along with  a number of Hannah Whitley Foundation trustees, give up their time to offer yoga to the relatives in a caring and supportive environment.  This partnership has equipped many relatives of patients at East Cheshire Hospice with a new tool to help with their grief and distress.
