Today is National Bereaved Parents Day with a theme of You Are Not Alone. It was set up in 2020 by the charity A Child of Mine when they realised there wasn’t a specific day to honour parents who had lost a child.
Perhaps you have suffered such a loss, and the aim of the day is to tell someone what makes you feel less alone. The sad passing of Han was the instigator for setting up The Hannah Whitley Foundation and we hope we do a good job of honouring her memory and helping others in need.
Let’s give thanks that she brought so much joy to those who knew and loved her and our thoughts go out to her mum Nicola Simmons and also the rest of her family and friends. All those who knew Han have shown such strength and determination, brought together by a collective grief.
As you will be aware our free restorative yoga classes now take place every Tuesday at 10.45am. Lasting for an hour please do come and join us if you need some extra support. You can just turn up on the day or book in advance using the link here https://yogaontheedge.co.uk/timetable/. Our yogi Clare Broomhead looks forward to welcoming you at her studio Yoga on the Edge
