We are delighted to welcome a new yogi who will be helping Clare Broomhead run our Thursday restorative class, Sophie Ng.
Through a love of movement and a childhood of dance Sophie found yoga in her early 20s. She has practised many styles and has completed many hours of training and she continues to study to this day.
Half Malaysian, half English, Sophie enjoys using elements of Chinese medicine and meridians into her restorative classes. Her sessions are designed to help bring a sense of balance and equanimity to your body and mind. The real practice of yoga is not how many shapes you can make on the mat but the way you move through life.
Practicing yoga means you often find yourself in a period of self reflection, on a journey towards self realisation and inner stillness. The journey you take allows you to learn how to change your perspective, how to address any of life’s obstacles with compassion.
To book your free place at our Thursday session, which takes place at 12.00pm at Clare’s studios Yoga on the Edge in Alderley Edge, please email in advance of the class to info@yogaontheedge.co.uk
