The Hannah Whitley Foundation was started in response to the tragic loss of our Han, in December 2017 just as she was embarking on the trip of a lifetime.
Following on from a Just Giving campaign the Foundation was officially launched in May 2018 and gained Charitable status in April 2020.
We’ve had so much help along the way and are grateful to all Han’s family and friends who have pitched in and been such a support to Han’s family, in particular her mum Nicola Simmons. We are also thankful to all the teachers who have run our classes to help support those in need, and we give thanks to those of you who have been in a position to make a donation to keep our classes fully funded and always free.
You can see all our individual milestones on the section of this website here https://thehannahwhitleyfoundation.org/milestones/
We are embarking on a new chapter this year with our Yogi Clare Broomhead’s fantastic new premises Yoga on the Edge and our new day and time for our Restorative Yoga class, which is now held for an hour every Tuesday morning starting at 10.45am. These free classes are for those who are in need of some time out from the every day stresses and strains that life throws at us. You can either book your place in advance using the link here https://yogaontheedge.co.uk/timetable/ or you are welcome to turn up on the day.
